Traffic Safety Checkpoint Locations

The Kentucky State Police will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints in the counties of Oldham, Trimble, Henry, Owen, Carroll and Gallatin counties.

The intent of a traffic safety checkpoint is to provide for high visibility public safety service, focusing on vehicular equipment deficiencies, confirming appropriate registration of vehicles and the licensing of drivers. Violations of law or other public safety issues that arise shall be addressed in accordance with Kentucky traffic and regulatory laws.

Carroll County

  • US 42 and KY 2350 (Martin Road Intersection)
  • US 42 mile post 5.5; Intersection of KY 55
  • KY 36 mile post 2.0 to 2.9 (sand & gravel pit)
  • KY 227 and KY 1204 Goose Creek Road

Gallatin County

  • US 42 at Markland Dam
  • US 42 at US 127
  • US 42 at mile post 6 to 7 east of Warsaw
  • KY 1039 at Markland Dam

Henry County

  • US 421 and KY 22, Cross roads 2 miles east of Eminence
  • KY 22 and KY 322, Intersection 2 miles west of Eminence
  • KY 22 and Giltner Road
  • KY 55 at the Henry County/Shelby County Line

Oldham County

  • KY 22 mile post 1.1 to 2.0
