Kentucky State Police investigate a Fatal Collision in Grant County

Dry Ridge Ky. (April 22, 2024) On April 20, 2024 at 4:19 a.m. The Kentucky State Police Post 6- Dry Ridge responded to a two-vehicle collision on the 1500 block of Sherman Mount Zion Road (KY 1994) in Grant County.

Through preliminary investigation, investigators determined that a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling east bound on Sherman-Mount Zion Road and went left of center striking a 2003 Honda Pilot head-on that was traveling west bound. The driver of the Eclipse was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grant County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the Pilot was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. KSP was assisted at the scene by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Fire Department, Grant County E.M.S. and the Grant County Coroner’s Office.
