Kentucky State Police Investigate A Northern Pendleton County Firetruck Collision

Falmouth, Ky. (October 24, 2024) – The Kentucky State Police, Dry Ridge Post, is investigating a Northern Pendleton County Firetruck Collision. 

The Kentucky State Police Post 6 Collision Reconstruction team was requested by the Northern Pendleton County Fire Department to investigated a single vehicle collision involving a firefighters. While responding to a fire call a firetruck was unable to navigate a left turn on KY177 West. The firetruck then came to rest in a creek. The firefighter had to be extracted and was then air lifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital. At this time the collision is still under investigation by Post 6 Reconstruction Units.
