UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting in Carroll County

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (08/20/2024)-The Carroll County Sherriff’s Office has released information identifying the subject involved in the officer-involved shooting in Worthville on Sunday night as Justin Osborn, a 40 year old caucasian male. Mr. Osborn is believed to have ties to the Worthville(Carroll County) and Glasgow (Barren County) areas.
At this time Justin Osborn’s whereabouts remain unknown. Local and state law enforcement continue to attempt to locate him. If anyone has any information that could assist in locating Osborn contact your local law enforcement agency or the Kentucky State Police. Mr. Osborn is considered armed and may be dangerous, the public should not attempt to approach him.

WORTHVILLE, Ky. (08/19/2024) –The Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg has been requested by the Carroll County Sherriff’s Office to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Worthville on Sunday, August 18 at approximately 9:30 p.m. EST, near a residence on Happy Hollow Lane. Post 5 troopers and detectives arrived on the scene and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
There are no known injuries reported as a result of this shooting incident at this time.
