Kentucky State Police Investigates Barren County Collision 

CAVE CITY, KY. (March 06, 2025) – At just after 8:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 3 was contacted about a collision. Troopers arrived at the scene in the 2400 block of Griderville Road (KY-70).

A preliminary investigation indicates that a red Chevrolet Silverado, operated by 43-year-old Billy Gregory from Glasgow, was traveling east on Griderville Road. Mr. Gregory’s vehicle crossed the centerline into the westbound lane, into the path of a red Chevrolet Spark driven by 46-year-old Sandra Dillard from Horse Cave. Ms. Dillard was air lifted to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries. Mr. Gregory was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Cody Edwards, who was assisted at the scene by Barren County EMS and other KSP personnel.
