
Kentucky State Police Post 3 Make Drug Arrest in Butler County
MORGANTOWN, KY. (October 14, 2025) – On 10/12/2025, Troopers of the Kentucky State Police along with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence located at 915 Orange Cemetery Road in Morgantown to assist the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Upon arrival, law enforcement detected the odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle on the property and from the residence. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office then obtained a search warrant for the residence. A search of the residence yielded suspected marijuana, THC and synthetic THC products, and currency.
Keeton Martin (28) of Morgantown, KY was arrested and charged with the following: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (8oz to <5lbs) 1st Offense, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Drug Paraphernalia Buy-Possess and Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree. Martin was transported and lodged in the Butler County Jail.
This investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Brent Davis of the Kentucky State Police. Trooper Davis was assisted by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
