Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, KY. (October 01, 2025) – At just before 12:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call about a fatal collision in Allen County. Troopers responded to the scene on Macedonia Road at Old Gallatin Road. 

A preliminary investigation indicates that a red 2010 Ford Fusion operated by Martin Arterburn, 68, of Scottsville, was traveling west on Macedonia Road. Mr. Arterburn’s vehicle went off the roadway and struck a rock wall. Mr. Arterburn was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Allen County Coroner.

The investigation is ongoing and will be led by Trooper Adam Morgan.
