Kentucky State Police Investigate Shooting in Butler County

MORGANTOWN, KY. (January 28, 2024) – Just before 7:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 03 received a request for assistance from Morgantown Police Department regarding a shooting incident. Troopers arrived at the scene on West Morrison Street and discovered a male individual with life-threatening injuries. The individual was pronounced deceased by the Butler County Coroner at the scene. This investigation is ongoing and will be lead by Detective Gary Travis.
