KSP Investigating Fatal Collision on KY 176 in Muhlenberg County

Drakesboro, Ky. (Muhlenberg County) – On Saturday, Septmeber 25, 2021, around 11:59 AM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2, Madisonville, was requested to investigate a two vehicle fatal collision, 3 miles East of Greenville on KY-176.

Preliminary investigation indicated that a 2008 Jeep Cherokee operated by Mark Revlett of Drakesboro was traveling Eastbound on KY-176 when for an unknown reason his vehicle exited the left shoulder of the roadway.  Revlett’s vehicle drove back onto the roadway where it collided head-on with a 2016 Nissan Versa, operated by Thomas Morrison of Madisonville, KY.

Both operators were transported to Muhlenberg Hospital where Morrison succumbed to his injuries sustained from the collision. Trooper Jacob Stephens is investigating the collision reconstruction.
