Kentucky State Police Investigates Caldwell County Homicide

Princeton, Ky. (April 25, 2024) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 investigators are working diligently on the homicide of Dorothy Sparks. One week ago, Mrs. Sparks was located deceased at her residence on South Jefferson Street in Princeton, KY, and was later determined to be the victim of a homicide. As investigators continue to work on obtaining additional evidence, KSP is requesting the public’s assistance in this investigation. If anyone was in the area of South Jefferson Street last Thursday (April 18, 2024), who may have information pertaining to this case, contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 2 at (270) 676-3313. Princeton, Ky. (April 22, 2024) – On the evening of April 18, 2024, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 received a call from Caldwell County 911 Center for assistance. Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance regarding a death investigation at a residence on South Jefferson Street in Princeton KY.

Detectives launched an investigation into the incident and determined the death of Dorothy D. Sparks, 93, of Princeton, KY was a homicide.

The investigation is ongoing by Detective Jacob Stephens. Anyone with information regarding the homicide of Dorothy Sparks is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 2 at (270) 676-3313.
