KSP Investigating Fatal Vehicle Collision

The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Holland.

Princeton KY (Caldwell County) – On November 20, 2019 at approximately 4:20 PM, Trooper Daniel Holland, of Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville, responded to a single vehicle collision eastbound on I-24 at the 56 mile marker.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2007 silver Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Jaryonlee Wells, 24, of Omaha, Nebraska, abruptly exited the western part of the roadway and collided with trees. The vehicle was also occupied by Heidi Renter, 22, and Elyonha Wells, 1, of Omaha, Nebraska. Heidi Renter was pronounced deceased on scene by the Caldwell County Coroner’s Office.

Jaryonlee Wells and Elyonha Wells were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and are in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Holland.
