UPDATE: Kentucky State Police Post 2 Searches for Missing Christian County Woman

NORTONVILLE, Ky. (March 26, 2026) -Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 detectives have located the body of a missing Christian County woman.
On March 25, 2026 at approximately 2:40p.m CDT Hopkins County Sherriff’s Office contacted KSP regarding a 911 call they received of a deceased female. A resident from the 400 block of S Hopkinsville Street in Nortonville contacted 911 advising they located a deceased female near the back of their property. Law enforcement arrived and identified the body as Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette, age 39, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. An autopsy has been completed and no foul play is suspected. This investigation is ongoing and being led by Detective Fortney U/258.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (January, 14, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Christian County woman. Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette, age 39, is a white female who stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Ms. Forgette has several identifying tattoos, including three hearts on her cheek, the name “Joe” on her hand, a cross on her forearm, and three names tattooed on her ankle and several others along with facial piercings.
Ms. Forgette was last seen during the early hours on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the area of Hopkinsville Road in Nortonville, Kentucky.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Raeann Emerald Forgette is urged to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 2 at (270) 676-3313. Trooper Ben Sawyer (U/1043) is the lead investigator in this case.
