Carter County Resident Found Guilty On Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses

Grayson, Ky. (July 24, 2019) – On Thursday, April 6, 2018 the Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland received a complaint concerning the sexual abuse of a juvenile.

During the course of the investigation, Detective Samuel Lawson collected sufficient evidence to charge Austin C. McGraw, age 25 of Grayson, with Sodomy 1^st Degree and Sexual Abuse 1^st Degree.

On July 18, 2019, Austin C. McGraw was found guilty by a jury of his peers on both charges and sentenced to serve 18 years in prison and register as a lifetime offender on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry.
