Kentucky State Police Investigate Breathitt County Fatality

Jackson, Ky. (February 2, 2023) – On Thursday, February 2, 2023, at approximately 12:56 A.M, Kentucky State Police, Post 13, Hazard, received a call in reference to a two-vehicle collision on KY-15 in the Jackson community of Breathitt County.

Troopers, along with medical personnel, responded to the scene. Initial investigation indicates that Talbert Noble, 20, of Jackson, was operating an off-road motorcycle and pulled onto Ky-15 into the path of a gold Ford F-150 traveling on Ky-15N. Noble was pronounced deceased on scene by the Breathitt County Coroner’s Office.

Autopsy and toxicology reports are pending at this time. No helmet was in use at the time of the collision. This incident remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by Trooper Jarrett Fields.
