Kentucky State Police Searching for Escaped Blackburn Correctional Complex Inmate

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 19, 2026) – The Kentucky State Police is searching for Ronshaune Simmons, who has escaped from Blackburn Correctional Complex. Mr. Simmons is a 41 year-old black male, 5’9″ tall with black hair and brown eyes, weighing around 188 lbs. Both of his ears are pierced. He was charged with multiple drug trafficking related offenses, as well as possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
