Kentucky State Police Post 1 Experiencing Phone Outage

***UPDATE*** MAYFIELD, Ky. (May 27, 2024) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 reports that all phone lines have returned to normal operation at this time.

MAYFIELD, Ky. (May 27, 2024) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 is currently experiencing a phone outage affecting all emergency 911 and non-emergency administrative lines. 

Emergency 911 lines have been transferred to McCracken Central Dispatch and are being answered there. Information is being relayed to the appropriate agencies for response.

Non-emergency administrative lines have been transferred to backup cellular phones and are being answered by KSP telecommunicators at Post 1. 

Calls for service are being answered; however, KSP requests the public’s patience with our telecommunicators as these transfers are in place. There is not a current estimated time of repair for the phone lines.
