KSP Searching for Male who Fled after Physical Altercation

Mayfield, KY. (March 4, 2020) – Kentucky State Police Troopers are currently searching for a male around the area of Gibsons Pharmacy and Family Dollar on East Broadway in Mayfield. At approximately 3:35 p.m., Trooper Aaron Jestes was traveling on East Broadway in front of Family Dollar and observed a black male physically assaulting a female in the parking lot. Trooper Jestes immediately pulled into the parking lot and confronted the male, advising him to stop. The unidentified male failed to obey commands and fled from Trooper Jestes into a woodline adjacent to Family Dollar. Troopers are on scene working to identify and locate the male.

Troopers have obtained photos from video surveillance footage at A to Z Liquors located next to Family Dollar. The black male Troopers are searching for is pictured in the attached photos.
