Kentucky State Police Seeking Public Assistance Locating Wanted Sex Offender

PRYORSBURG, Ky. (November 14, 2024) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 1 is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted man last known to reside in the Pryorsburg area of Graves County. 

John Elmer West is a convicted sex offender who has been determined to be non-compliant with the sex offender registry requirements. He also has an active warrant for his arrest stemming from a violent felony offense in Tennessee. West is described as a 43 year old white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, standing roughly 5′ 11″ tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has multiple face tattoos and piercings.
