KUTTAWA, Ky.(April 19, 2017) – On Tuesday, April 18, 2017, Kentucky State Police Troopers T. J. Williams and Lewie Dodd, assigned with the Post 1 Interdiction Team, stopped a vehicle near the 47 mile marker in Lyon for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, Troopers observed indicators of criminal behavior and subsequently searched the vehicle. During the search, Troopers located marijuana edibles as well as over 75 pounds of high grade marijuana.
Michael D. Wilson, age 37, of Edmonds, Washington was arrested and charged with Trafficking Marijuana Greater than Five Pounds (Felony). Wilson was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
