BENTON, Ky. (June 16, 2017) – Kentucky State Police arrested a Marshall County woman Friday afternoon during a traffic stop. At approximately 6:00 p.m., Trooper Eric West stopped a passenger car being driven by Amber Howard on Highway 68 near Holland Road in Marshall County.
During the stop, Trooper West located several baggies of suspected methamphetamine, numerous pills, and drug paraphernalia.
Amber D. Howard, age 33, of Briensburg, Kentucky was arrested and charged with First Degree Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Third Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
