Carroll County Man Convicted of Multiple Counts of Rape and Sexual Abuse
CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (11/13/2024) – Kentucky State Police Post 5 received a report of sexual assault on June 16, 2021 which occurred over the course of 10 years. Through investigation, Trooper Jonathan Callis determined the female victim had been sexually abused multiple times during the 10-year period, beginning when she was a juvenile. The investigation also revealed two additional victims of sexual abuse.
The investigation resulted in the indictment and arrest of Terry Glacken, a 50-year-old man of Carrollton, on November 15, 2021.
The trial for Terry Glacken began in Carroll Circuit Court on November 6, 2024 and concluded on November 8, 2024. Terry Glacken was found guilty of the following charges:
-Sodomy in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
-Rape in the First Degree, Forcible Compulsion
-Rape in the First Degree, Forcible Compulsion
-Incest
-Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
-Rape in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
-Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Victim under 12
-Sexual Abuse in the First Degree
-Sexual Abuse in the First Degree
Formal sentencing is set for January 2025.
