Kentucky State Police Investigate Fatal Collision in Warsaw

CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (11/12/2024) – Kentucky State Police Post 5 was requested to assist with a collision in Warsaw involving two pedestrians on Tuesday November 12 at a few minutes after 5:00 pm. 

The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2018 Ford Escape being operated by Ricky Webb was traveling west on US 42 at the intersection of KY 35 when two pedestrians entered the roadway near the crosswalk.  The vehicle struck both pedestrians.   

The Gallatin County Coroner pronounced one of the pedestrians deceased at the scene, who was identified as a 76 year old female of Dry Ridge. The other pedestrian, a 83 male of Dry Ridge, was transported to a medical facility for treatment of his injuries. The family of the pedestrians has requested their identity’s not be released at this time. 

This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 5.  KSP was assisted on scene by the Warsaw Police Department, The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Gallatin County EMS and the Gallatin County Coroner.
