Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Allen County 

SCOTTSVILLE, KY. (December 18, 2024) – At approximately 1:40 pm the Kentucky State Police Post 03, Bowling Green received a call from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance regarding a fatal collision. Troopers responded to the scene on New Glasgow Road (US 31E). 

 A preliminary investigation indicates that a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Roger Tooley, 77, of Scottsville, was traveling south on New Glasgow Road. Mr. Tooley’s vehicle crossed the center line entering the northbound lane and into the path of a 2013 Kia Optima operated by Amanda Robledo, 40, of Scottsville. A passenger in Mr. Tooley’s vehicle, Rebecca Tooley, 81, of Scottsville, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Mr.Tooley and Ms. Robledo were airlifted to  Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN where Ms. Robledo later succumbed to her injuries.

 Detective Bo Hubbard will lead the reconstruction investigation. The Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Allen County Coroner’s Office, and other KSP personnel assisted at the scene.
