Kentucky State Police Arrest Non-Compliant Sex Offender in Paducah

Paducah, KY. (November 30, 2020) – Kentucky State Police, Post 1 received a tip Monday regarding a Kentucky sex offender who was not residing at his registered address. Troopers received information that John D. Knight, 41 of Paducah, Kentucky has not resided at his registered address since November 6, 2020 and was possibly living in a wooded area behind Kroger on Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah. Troopers traveled to the area and located Knight in the reported location.

Knight was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on one charge of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration, 1st Offense (Class D Felony).

The investigation continues by Trooper Derral Redwine.
